📞 Our PBX allows users to enable or disable the Follow Me feature directly from any registered device using a star code.
Important: Before using the *21 star code to enable Follow Me, you must contact Dataphone Technical Support so the Follow Me settings (ring sequence, numbers, timeouts, rules, etc.) are properly configured for your extension. Once configured by tech support, you can enable and disable Follow Me as needed.

ℹ️ What is Follow Me? #
Follow Me is a PBX feature that allows incoming calls to ring on multiple devices or numbers based on your settings. For example, a call to your office extension can ring:
- Your desk phone
- Your mobile phone
- A home phone
- Any other number you configure
This ensures that you never miss important calls, even when you are away from your desk.
Why use Follow Me?
- To stay reachable on multiple devices without giving out multiple numbers
- To ensure calls are answered even if you are away from your main phone
- To centralize call handling for busy teams or managers
Difference from traditional call forwarding:

📝 How to Use Follow Me #
📲 1. Enable Follow Me – *21 #
Usage:
Dial *21 from your extension.
✅ You’ll hear a confirmation tone or message indicating that Follow Me has been enabled and calls will now follow the configuration set by Dataphone Tech Support.
🛑 2. Disable Follow Me – *21 #
Usage:
Dial *21 again from your phone.
✅ You’ll hear a confirmation tone or message indicating that Follow Me has been disabled and incoming calls will now ring only on your primary extension (or according to your base settings).
ℹ️ Notes #
- The
*21code only toggles the Follow Me feature (on/off). It does not configure where calls should ring — that must be done before using the star code by Dataphone Tech Support as described above. - After Follow Me is set up, you can enable or disable it at any time by dialing
*21. - You can test the current status by calling your extension from another line.
