🔄 How to Perform a Factory Reset on a Grandstream GRP Phone

⚠️ Note: A factory reset will erase all user settings and restore the device to its original default configuration. Ensure any necessary backups are completed before proceeding.
This was tested on a Grandstream GRP2615

To perform a factory reset on the Grandstream GRP2615 phone:

  • Go to System settings.
  • Select Factory Reset.
  • Confirm the reset.
  • The phone will reboot and return to default factory settings.

📝 Step-by-Step Instructions #

📱 Step 1: Access the Menu #

Press the center “dot” or navigation key on the phone to access the main menu.

⚙️ Step 2: Navigate to System #

Use the arrow keys to scroll to the System option, then press the center key to select it.

🧼 Step 3: Select Factory Reset #

Scroll down to Factory Reset and press the center key again.

✅ Step 4: Confirm the Reset #

Press the “Yes” soft key when prompted to confirm the factory reset.

🔁 Step 5: Wait for the Phone to Reboot #

The phone will now reboot and begin the factory reset process. This may take a few minutes.

Ahron sees the big picture
As CTO of Dataphone, Ahron oversees the software design and implements new technologies for the company. He guides us on broadening the company’s scope, making new services accessible to Dataphone customers. He is the expert at defining our process of architecting failovers, and our customers rely on his ingenious solutions.
