If you see dates displayed in the DD/MM/YYYY format within the Message dataphone portal, it may be due to your browser’s language settings.
You can update your browser to use English (United States) so that dates appear in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
Follow the steps below for your browser.
🟦 Google Chrome #
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings.
- From the left-hand menu, select Languages.
- Under Preferred languages, check if English (United States) is listed.
- If not, click Add languages.
- Search for English (United States), select it, and click Add.
- Once added, click the three dots next to English (United States) and select Display Chrome in this language.
- Click Relaunch to apply the change.
✅ After relaunching, Chrome will use the MM/DD/YYYY date format.
🟩 Microsoft Edge #
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- In the left-hand menu, choose Languages.
- If English (United States) is not listed, click Add languages.
- Search for English (United States), select it, and click Add.
- Once added, click the three dots next to English (United States) and select Display Microsoft Edge in this language.
- Restart Edge when prompted.
✅ After restarting, Edge will display dates in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
🟧 Mozilla Firefox #
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- In the left-hand menu, select General.
- Scroll down to the Language and Appearance section.
- Under Language, click Set Alternatives….
- If English (United States) is not listed, click Select a language to add…, choose English (United States), and click Add.
- Move English (United States) to the top of the list using the Move Up button.
- Click OK, then restart Firefox.
✅ Once restarted, Firefox will display dates in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
💡 Note #
Some web applications may still show dates in a specific format based on their internal settings. If the Dataphone portal still displays DD/MM/YYYY after changing your browser settings, please contact our support team for assistance.
