# Finding the IP Address of a Grandstream GRP Desk Phone

The IP address of a Grandstream GRP desk phone is useful when troubleshooting network issues or accessing the phone's web configuration page.

You can find the phone's IP address directly from the phone without needing to access the network router.

## Method 1: Quickly Display the IP Address

On most Grandstream GRP phones:

1. Make sure the phone is on the **home/idle screen**.
2. Press the **UP ▲ button** on the navigation pad.
3. The phone will display its current **IP address**.

Grandstream's documentation specifically notes that pressing the **UP** navigation key from the idle screen displays the phone's IP address.

The IP address may look similar to:

**192.168.1.125**

Your actual IP address will depend on the network the phone is connected to.

## Method 2: Find the IP Address Through the Phone Menu

If pressing the **UP ▲ button** does not display the IP address, you can find it through the phone's menu.

1. Press the **MENU** or **HOME** button.
2. Select **Status**.
3. Select **Network Status**.
4. Look for **IPv4 Address**.

Depending on the specific GRP model and firmware, some models may display the Ethernet information under **Network Status → Ethernet**.
